EAST VILLAGE GARDEN
Our design transformed this bland, uninspiring terrace into an intimate garden, reflecting our young client’s love of eclectic and Moroccan-inspired patterns.
Wanting the space to be multi-functional, we used a variety of materials to create separate areas: the terraced, Brazilian walnut deck serves as the entrance, leading down to the rustic, tumbled-stone floor of the courtyard. The soft palette of the floor and walls sets a peaceful tone, while the encaustic cement tiles add a touch of whimsy to a built-in bench. Perfect for serving, sitting or sunning!
